CES 2018: Canatu partners with several technology leaders for 3D touch solutions

Canatu (Helsinki, Finland) has set into partnership with a number of market and innovation leaders in creating cutting edge 3D shaped, transparent touch surfaces and intuitive solutions for the automotive industry. CES is a focal point for automotive solutions as the cars are becoming connected extensions of living rooms and the user experience is changing. The requirements in safety and energy efficiency, for example, are playing an ever growing role for electric cars and automated driving. At CES, Canatu demonstrates several 3D automotive solutions, created in collaboration with Tier 1’s and established technology companies in the field.

Qorvo IoT solution powers senior home care

Qorvo (Greensboro, North Carolina), a leading provider of innovative RF solutions, is helping seniors live more independently in their homes with the help of a new eHealth system powered by the company’s chipsets for the Internet of Things (IoT). Health insurer CZ will provide the system to 3000 elderly customers in The Netherlands, marking the first deployment of a senior smart home solution by a large health insurance company.

TactoTek collaborates with Dassault Systèmes to bring IMSE process to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

TactoTek (Oulu, Finland), a leader in injection moulded structural electronics (IMSE) solutions announced that it is collaborating with Dassault Systèmes (Paris, France) to enable users of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to digitally experiment with TactoTek IMSE parts. This will empower designers and engineers from automotive, home appliances, industrial and wearable electronics leaders to accelerate the development of their next generation consumer electronic experiences.

PV Nano Cell closes acquisition of DigiFlex

PV Nano Cell from Israel, an innovative producer of conductive digital inks, announced the closing of its acquisition of DigiFlex, a digital printer manufacturer. The all-stock transaction was valued at US$10M and represents 25% of PV Nano Cell on a fully diluted basis, post transaction. Additionally, certain shareholders of DigiFlex and its subsidiary, JetCU P.C.B. Ltd., committed to investing $1.1M in PV Nano Cell, of which $500 000 has already been invested, and an additional $600 000 is expected to close by the end of 2017.
