CSEM: Claude Nicollier will hand over office in June 2023

Effective June 2023, Claude Nicollier will step down from his position as CSEM’s chairperson of the board of directors during its annual general meeting. "CSEM is well-prepared for the future, meaning I can pass the baton over next year with gratitude for the past 16 exciting years," says the 78-year-old astronaut and honorary professor at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne). Since he took over as chairman in June 2007, CSEM has experienced major growth. Under his guidance, the technology innovation centre’s turnover grew from 53.1 to 96.9 million Swiss francs, and its employee count rose by over 75%.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland appoints new VP sales and customer partnerships

Isorg (Limoges, France), a pioneer in organic photo detectors (OPDs) and large-area image sensors, has announced the appointment of Dieter May as CEO; to transform the company from an SME into a major corporation. He takes over from Isorg founder JeanYves Gomez, who has successfully led Isorg’s technological and industrial development since its creation in 2010. Gomez will now devote his time to driving future generations of technology as chief innovation officer.
