ARMOR solar power films introduces true grey solar film with novel acceptor material from Nano-C

ARMOR solar power films GmbH (Kitzingen, Germany), an industrial leader in manufacturing organic photovoltaics (OPV), and Nano-C, Inc., a leading producer of patented nanostructured carbon materials, including fullerenes, fullerene derivatives, and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT), have expanded the colour options for all types of product offerings including BIPV, achieving a true grey colour sought after by architects and design professionals. ARMOR solar power films plans to utilise the Nano-C fullerene derivative to expand its product portfolio to include ASCA organic photovoltaic film in true grey.

ARMOR solar power films wins the German Sustainability Award

ARMOR solar power films (ARMOR Group; Nantes, France) has won the German Sustainability Award in the category “Climate”. This prize is seen as a major success for the Franco-German company, which is a European leader in the OPV film market. The ceremony was held in Düsseldorf in the presence of the German Vice Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Development Minister Dr Gerd Müller.

Meyer Burger strengthens its management team with seasoned solar expert

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd has won a seasoned solar expert for its future production facilities in Germany: Moritz Borgmann (born 1977) is appointed managing director of the newly founded Meyer Burger (Industries) GmbH as of 1 February 2021. This entity will manufacture the highly efficient heterojunction solar cells and SmartWire solar modules.
