The Swedish scale-up Epishine has signed an agreement with CCAG, a Swiss IT distribution house with an international reputation, for their Organic Indoor Light Energy Harvesting Modules (LEHs). With the "energy harvesting light cells" from Epishine, CCAG is now offering an interesting, efficient and flexible alternative in its product portfolio to companies that research and produce in the field of sustainable battery management.
Followed by extensive external growth, ARMOR solar power films, a world leader in organic photovoltaics (OPV), is beginning a new chapter. Dr Ralph Paetzold will lead a multidisciplinary European team: Moïra Asses (senior VP of strategy and marketing), Mélanie Bertrand (VP technology), Hermann Issa (senior VP business development and project management), Sebastian Meier (VP corporate development and partner management), Tobias Sauermann (VP industrial), and Nicolas Vannieuwenhuyse (VP for key accounts). His key goal is to actively advance the fight against global warming, thanks to the innovative solar ASCA solution.
Epishine (Linköping, Sweden) has developed a pioneering, patented process for printing organic solar cells with industry-leading low-light efficiency. They have just launched their first product on the world market: a small-scale solar cell that harvests indoor light to supply power to IoT products. They have received SEK 80M (€8M) to position themselves as the market leader in printed solar cells.
