Optomec receives large order for 3D printed electronics production at OEM

Optomec Inc. (Albuquerque, New Mexico) recently announced that one of its long-time production customers purchased another five Aerosol Jet 3D Electronics Printers, bringing its total count over time to 15 systems. The $1+ million order is part of a production ramp plan that will grow to more than 25 systems over the next 12 months.

PragmatIC Semiconductor leads project to increase the value of plastic waste

PragmatIC Semiconductor (Cambridge, UK), a world leader in flexible electronics, is working on an Innovate UK, Manufacturing Made Smarter project to increase the quality of plastic recyclate. In the project, code-named SORTIT, packaging will be given unique digital IDs to facilitate the tracking and separation of packaging waste in a materials recovery facility (MRF).
