During the upcoming LOPEC trade show on 1 and 2 March in Munich, Henkel will display its range of functional material innovations for printed electronics together with its broad ecosystem of partners. In addition to its solution portfolio for smart surfaces and digital healthcare, the company will focus on novel pad printing solutions for antenna applications. At booth 508 in hall B0, Henkel will also offer dedicated focus hours on a variety of different topics to demonstrate the potentials of printed electronics solutions and applications.
Isorg (Limoges, France), a pioneer in Organic PhotoDetectors (OPDs) and large area image sensors, announces further details on the company’s collaboration with Precise Biometrics, a leader in fingerprint verification software, on a new Fingerprint on Display (FoD) solution for the mobile industry.
Miniaturised optoelectronic systems with emitter and/or sensor functions on a single chip can be realised with OLED-on-silicon technology. Scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP (Dresden, Germany) have now used this technology, which has reached industrial maturity in OLED microdisplays so far, to develop an advanced organic-on-silicon photonics platform that can enable new generations of microdisplays and image sensors. The latest research results will be presented and actual demonstrators will be showcased at Photonics West 2023, 31 January – 2 February 2023, in San Francisco, USA.
