ARMOR solar power films welcomes a new European leadership team

Dr Ralph Paetzold will lead a multidisciplinary European team: Moïra Asses (senior VP of strategy and marketing), Mélanie Bertrand (VP technology), Hermann Issa (senior VP business development and project management), Sebastian Meier (VP corporate development and partner management), Tobias Sauermann (VP industrial), and Nicolas Vannieuwenhuyse (VP for key accounts). Epishine receives €8M – AxSol becomes largest individual shareholder

Epishine (Linköping, Sweden) has developed a pioneering, patented process for printing organic solar cells with industry-leading low-light efficiency. They have just launched their first product on the world market: a small-scale solar cell that harvests indoor light to supply power to IoT products. They have received SEK 80M (€8M) to position themselves as the market leader in printed solar cells.

Pollux releases third product with Epishine’s light cell

Pollux (Swartsjö, Sweden), one of Epishine’s (Linköping, Sweden) first customers, which already has two light-powered products on the market, is now revealing a new product in the Hadar family: “Hadar Cold”, a connected sensor for sub-zero temperatures. The sensor is designed to help preserve, extend, and ensure the shelf life of refrigerated products, without the maintenance cost for replacing batteries.
