Avery Dennison Smartrac launches ultra-small RFID inlay for pharma applications

Avery Dennison Smartrac (Glendale, California) recently launched its AD Minidose U9 RAIN RFID inlay for pharmaceutical applications, unlocking critical RFID value for healthcare, pharmacies, and laboratory asset management. AD Minidose U9 is one of the smallest products on the market to receive ARC certification (Spec S) from Auburn University’s RFID Lab, and to be approved for use by the DoseID industry consortium.

Sensirion: Sensor technology is helping the treatment of COVID patients

The number of COVID-19 patients is currently on the rise again, and with it the hospitalisation rate. To redistribute the burden on hospitals, patients are being transferred between different federal states. The flow sensor from Sensirion (Stäfa, Switzerland) is playing an important role in this, enabling gentle ventilation during transfer between intensive care units.
