CYNORA (Bruchsal, Germany), a leader in TADF (thermally activated delayed fluorescence) materials for next-generation OLEDs, extends its joint development agreement with LG Display. After two years of joint development since 2016, CYNORA and LG Display have decided to continue their cooperation towards the commercialisation of TADF emitters in OLED displays.
Organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) are mainly known from televisions and smartphone displays. They can be used as lighting objects in car tail lights or lights. The Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP (Dresden, Germany) as a partner for customer-specific OLED development and production is now presenting OLED elements that can be integrated into textiles at the Electronics System Integration Technology Conference ESTC 2018 from 18 – 21 September 2018 in Dresden.
E Ink Holdings (Billerica, Massachusetts), a leader in electronic ink technology, and Fujitsu Semiconductor announced the joint development of a reference design board for battery-less ePaper tags. The solution adopts E Ink’s low voltage ePaper module and Fujitsu’s UHF FRAM RFID LSI, creating an ideal combination to enable battery-less ePaper tag applications.
