Ynvisible Interactive Inc. (Vancouver, British Columbia), a company that specialises in creating ultra-low power displays in printed electronics, has announced the creation of an advisory board and the appointment of its first members: Dr Michael Okoroafor, Dr Harlan Byker, and Dr Harri Kopola.
On 25 November 2018, Plastic Logic ceased mass production at its factory in Dresden – a move that will impact 70 of its positions. “We are working with various organisations to help those to gain alternative employment and want to place on record our gratitude for their contribution to Plastic Logic’s ongoing journey,” said CEO Tim Burne in a statement on Plastic Logic’s website.

(New Castle, Delaware), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal Display Corporation, recently announced the grand-opening of its new, state-of-the-art chemistry laboratories in its New Castle facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on 19 October 2018 to commemorate this expansion with state and local officials, and other members of the Delaware community. The attendance included Governor John Carney, Senator Tom Carper and the Delaware Prosperity Partnership (DPP), whose support for innovation and job growth in Delaware were integral with this expansion.
