With the C-Touch & Display Expo, one of the best-known exhibitions for display and touch screen production is on the trade fair calendar: For three days from 11 to 13 October, innovative materials and technologies will be the focus of interest for experts at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center. Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG (Saal a.d. Donau, Germany) will present solutions for improved production processes with the help of quality measurement at booth A98 in hall 8.
ams OSRAM (Premstätten, Austria), a global leader in intelligent sensors and emitters, received notice of substantial public funding by the German federal government (i.e. the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action) and the Free State of Bavaria. The funding is intended to boost the further development of semiconductor technology. The envisaged IPCEI funding (Important Project of Common European Interest) will support ams OSRAM in making its own investments in the research and development of innovative optoelectronic components at its Regensburg location.
Within the project “Backplane”, funded by the Saxon State Ministry of Economics, Labour and Transport SMWA (grant number: 100392259), a multicolour OLED microdisplay was realised by scientists of the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP (Dresden, Germany). With the Saxon project partner digades GmbH, a finished optics module should be brought to market in the future.
