Samsung Display’s ‘unbreakable flexible panel’ verified by UL

Recently, Samsung Display (Seoul, Korea) announced that its newly developed, unbreakable smartphone panel has just been officially verified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories). The Korean technology corporation stated that in addition to being used on smartphones, the newly developed display is expected to find viable markets with other electronic products such as display consoles for automobiles, mobile military devices, portable game consoles and tablet PCs for e-learning.

OSRAM Continental joint venture commences operations

As of now, the OSRAM Continental GmbH joint venture, set up by the two technology companies Continental and Osram, is up and running. Following the successful completion of all negotiations and the issuance of merger control approvals, the joint venture has been launched as planned in the second half of 2018.
