The Chinese company Yeolight Technology (which was spun-off Visionox in May 2015) has recently presented a 0.1mm flexible OLED panel. This is a red OLED panel that is specifically designed for automotive applications.
High-tech carbon nanomaterial developer Canatu (Vantaa, Finland) has signed a major joint development agreement with DENSO (Kariya, Japan), a leading mobility supplier, to develop high-performance reactors used in Carbon NanoBud (CNB) film production. The collaboration aims to improve CNB film manufacturing productivity by a factor of three compared with the current throughput. To achieve higher productivity, the 1.5-year development project will focus on improving reactor design, process controls and serviceability. The JDA was signed in May 2021 with the project starting immediately after.

To this end, it has pioneered the creation of several spin-off companies in industries ranging from energy and materials discovery to biotech and optoelectronics. Now, they are proud to announce the new member of this family: Qurv Technologies, launched from Graphene Flagship partner ICFO in Barcelona, Spain, and established in 2020 by Antonios Oikonomou, Stijn Goossens, Gerasimos Konstantatos and Frank Koppens.
