LG Display’s automotive solutions receive SGS eco-product certification

LG Display (Seoul, Korea), a globally leading innovator of display technologies, announced today that its automotive displays are certified as eco-friendly. LG Display’s automotive P-OLED and Premium LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) LCD displays have received the Eco-Product Certification Mark from SGS, a Swiss-based global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, for the first time in the industry. The certification mark is given to products that adhere to global environmental regulations and minimise hazardous substances all the way from production to disposal.

Canatu partners with Covestro for LiDAR deicing

Carbon nanomaterial developer Canatu (Vantaa, Finland) and global manufacturer of polymer materials and components Covestro, will showcase a joint LiDAR heater demonstrator at the Canatu booth 4271 / West Hall during CES 2023. The companies are bringing together leading expertise in flexible transparent film heaters, thermoplastic polymers and film insert moulding processing to showcase a state-of-the-art LiDAR cover lens with heating functionality that is highly performant, versatile, and ready for scale-up.
