No chance for hackers: Secure sensor technology for Continental hoses and lines

For some time now, the technology company Continental has been equipping many of its rubber and plastic products with sensor technology, e.g. for condition monitoring, efficiency control and process regulation. With the goal of more comprehensively equipping its rubber and elastomer solutions with sensor technology and intelligent systems, Continental has launched a collaboration – the sensIC project – with partners from industry and R&D. As the collaborative coordinator, Continental is driving the project forward with its integrated sensor technology based on printed electronics for hoses and lines installed in electric vehicles.

InnovationLab wins OE-A Competition in the category “Prototypes and New Products”

InnovationLab (Heidelberg, Germany), an expert in printed electronics based on the "From Lab to Fab" concept, has been named the winner in the "Prototypes and New Products" category of the 2021 OE-A Competition by the Organic and Printed Electronics Association (OE-A).

LOPEC 2021: Flexible and printed electronics continues its course for success

From 23 to 25 March, LOPEC was held as an online event. In 180 contributions, the speakers of the digital Conference and more than 70 companies at the online exhibition presented groundbreaking developments in printed electronics. Numerous user industries, such as the automotive, textile and entertainment sectors, are drawing on the potential of this technology. In the medical and pharmaceuticals sectors, in particular, a tremendous surge in development became evident.
