ACREO Swedish ICT, a centre for commercialising printed and organic electronics based in Norrkoping, Sweden, recently installed a CeraPrinter F-Serie all-in-one state-of-the-art digital materials deposition platform designed and manufactured by French-based CERADROP.
The German company Saueressig GmbH + Co. KG, a renowned expert in premium rotogravure and special machinery solutions, is exploring the printing properties of inks and coatings for all manners of applications. The interaction between the printing plate and the functional ink is critical to achieving optimum results. Complex inks in particular demand a great deal from the printing plate. The knowledge acquired in this area is now being used for printing on electronically functional materials.

Henkel Adhesive Technologies from Düsseldorf, Germany, and ContiTech Elastomer Coatings (Hannover, Germany) will now be working more closely together in the fields of functional printing and printed electronics. The two companies made an announcement concerning the agreement in question at the printing trade show drupa in Düsseldorf. The aim is to develop products that can be produced using cost-effective roll-to-roll processing in flexographic and other printing processes.
