Tomorrow’s technology today – OE-A presents the most innovative ideas and outlooks at LOPEC 2018

Already in its eighth year, the OE-A Competition is open for its members from all sectors of organic and printed electronics. Numerous international companies, research institutes and universities take part in this annual showcase to present their ideas, prototypes, and concepts. Prizes will be awarded for the best submission in each of the four categories – “Products & New Prototypes”, “Freestyle Exhibitor”, “Publicly Funded Project Exhibitor”, and “Printed Electronics Vision” – at LOPEC 2018 in Munich, Germany.

Printed electronics on the rise: The higlights of LOPEC 2018

From 13 to 15 March 2018, the 10th edition of LOPEC, the international exhibiton and conference for the printed electronics industry, will take place on the premises of Messe München (Germany). In addition to new printing materials and machines, exhibitors from all over the world will showcase numerous prototypes and commercial products with printed electronic components. The product range extends from sensors for environmental monitoring to 3D-printed components with integrated RFID technology.

IMSE leader TactoTek secures US$23M in funding

TactoTek (Oulu, Finland), a leading developer of injection moulded structural electronics (IMSE) solutions, announced that it has closed $23M in funding. The investment round attracted new strategic investors, Ascend Capital Partners, Nanogate, and Plastic Omnium, continuing participation from prior investors, including Conor Venture Partners and Faurecia Ventures, as well as debt instruments and grants.
