The organic and printed electronics industry is also severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the latest business climate survey by the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association). While the figures at the beginning of the year were still very positive with a forecast sales increase of 8 percent, the survey participants now expect a sales loss of 20 percent this year. Main reasons: Cancellations of orders and a significantly reduced order intake due to the Corona pandemic.
Since 2017 the OE-A honours persons who have made special contributions to the further development of the flexible, organic and printed electronics industry and the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) – a working group of the VDMA. With the appointment as 'OE-A Fellow' a personal OE-A membership for life is connected.
After the cancellation of LOPEC 2020, Messe Munich has come up with a new format that aims at connecting the printed electronics community in the age of the corona pandemic, where personal contacts are limited and rare.
