Japan Display unveils flexible fingerprint sensor

Japan Display Inc. (JDI) has developed a capacitive-type flexible fingerprint sensor by integrating its capacitive-type glass-based fingerprint sensor technology and flexible display technology. JDI has been developing large-sized sensors and transparent sensors that enhance product design by taking further advantage of the features of glass-based fingerprint sensors currently being mass-produced.

Batteries from the printer: Evonik’s new technology at LOPEC 2019

Evonik Industries AG (Essen, Germany) has unveiled TAeTTOOz, a new material technology for printable batteries, at the LOPEC 2019 tradeshow that recently took place in Munich. TAeTTOOz has been developed on the basis of what are known as redox polymers by Creavis, the strategic innovation unit of Evonik.
