The SPARTACUS research project as part of the EU research initiative BATTERY 2030+ has now been running for around a year. The project has successfully mastered the first milestones and project goals. On the way to sensor-based optimisation of charging times, range and service life for lithium-ion batteries, the SPARTACUS project team has worked on a number of partial aspects over the past 12 months. Now the individual components can be combined into a complete system.

E Ink (Billerica, Massachusetts), a pioneer and global commercial leader in digital paper technology, recently announced that it has partnered with TPV Technology, the world's leading manufacturer of PC monitors and LCD TVs, to bring the first 25.3 inch E Ink Spectra 3100 display to the transportation and smart retail markets. In April 2021, the two companies launched a 7.3-inch eTable sign with E Ink Spectra 3100 technology and have now expanded their partnership with the 25.3-inch four-colour ePaper signage.
