The Origo Steering Wheel named as CES 2022 Innovation Awards honouree

The Finnish companies Canatu, Siili Auto, TactoTek and Rightware have been named CES 2022 Innovation Awards honourees for the jointly developed Origo Steering Wheel concept. The product was recognised for outstanding design and engineering in the Vehicle Intelligence & Transportation category. This is already the second prestigious award for the Origo Steering Wheel after being recognised a Winner of the German Design Awards 2021. This year’s CES Innovation Awards programme received a record high number of over 1800 submissions. The announcement was made ahead of CES 2022, the world’s most influential technology event, taking place 5-8 January in Las Vegas, Nevada, and digitally. The multi-award winning Origo Steering Wheel concept will be demonstrated at CES in Canatu’s booth #6971 in LVCC’s West Hall, and by TactoTek in private meetings.

OE-A business climate survey – printed electronics proves resilience

“Our industry has proved to be resilient in the last year. The positive trend which we have seen at the beginning of this year has stabilized,” reviews Dr Klaus Hecker, OE-A managing director, the results of the latest business climate survey. A biannual survey conducted by OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), a Working Group within VDMA (Mechanical Engineering Industry Association). Twice a year, OE-A members – from material suppliers to end users – are asked to provide qualitative data on the state of the industry and their expected sales development. These surveys shed light on the anticipated growth of the flexible, organic, and printed electronics industry.
