Ynvisible Interactive Inc. (Vancouver, British Columbia), a company that specialises in creating ultra-low power displays in printed electronics, has announced the creation of an advisory board and the appointment of its first members: Dr Michael Okoroafor, Dr Harlan Byker, and Dr Harri Kopola.
Scott White, CEO at PragmatIC (Cambridge, UK), will give a presentation entitled “To trillions of smart objects and beyond” at the IDTechEx Show in Santa Clara, California, on 15 November 2018.
On 25 November 2018, Plastic Logic ceased mass production at its factory in Dresden – a move that will impact 70 of its positions. “We are working with various organisations to help those to gain alternative employment and want to place on record our gratitude for their contribution to Plastic Logic’s ongoing journey,” said CEO Tim Burne in a statement on Plastic Logic’s website.
