After a decade of intensive studies and development efforts, printed electronics can now be cost efficiently produced in masses. PrintoCent, a Finnish pilot factory dedicated to the scaling up from prototypes to mass manufacturing in the printed electronics industry, has therefore recently released a pioneering handbook that gives tools for a rapid technology take-off with numerous implementation examples and tangible advice on how to get the best out of the components.
Canatu Oy, Finnish-based manufacturer of next generation transparent conductive films and touch sensors, has announced a new generation of high optical transmittance CNB (Carbon Nano Bud) transparent conductive films at the recently concluded Printed Electronics Europe trade show in Berlin.
DuPont Teijin Films, a UK-based, polyester film-producing joint venture between DuPont and Teijin Limited, has been recognised with the Technical Development Materials Award at the IDTechEx Printed Electronics Conference and Tradeshow 2015 in Berlin, Germany. The award was given for the most significant technical development over the last 24 months in the material development field.
