BASF SE, a leading chemical, plastics and performance products company, has inaugurated a new research building at its headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany, after two years of construction. The building accommodates around 200 employees of the research division Advanced Materials & Systems Research, who have so far worked in different buildings in Ludwigshafen.
The organic/hybrid printed photovoltaic field is growing and reaching the production scale, where the development of large area processes is urgently needed. To this aim, researchers from CEA-Liten, based at the French Institut National de l’Energie Solaire (INES), have developed a flexible organic photovoltaic module manufactured entirely by inkjet printing processes.
