On 6 October2022 Canatu (Vantaa, Finland) was invited to the General Motors Switch Symposium in Detroit. At the event, the company presented its multi-award winning 3D touch technology. General Motors executives got first-hand experience in latest demonstrators featuring Canatu 3D touch in different automotive interior applications. This tech event enjoyed high attendance of over 100 visitors keen to hear the latest in cutting-edge switch technologies.
Voltera (Kitchener, Canada), a leading manufacturer of additive and printed electronics technology, has launched NOVA, a groundbreaking manufacturing platform for printing flexible hybrid electronics. NOVA uses direct-write technology to print circuits on soft, stretchable, and conformable surfaces.
TNO and imec have signed a letter of intent committing to work together on integrated photonics. Both research centres have each been working on photonics innovations for some time, but will now join forces to accelerate the development of the photonics industry in the Netherlands, Belgium and Europe. The collaboration will start in 2023 within Holst Centre, the research and innovation centre on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, in which imec and TNO have been collaborating since 2005. Holst Centre plays an active role in PhotonDelta's National Growth Fund proposal, and will further strengthen its position as a knowledge centre with this agreement.
