Plastic Logic, a leader in the design and manufacture of flexible, glass-free electrophoretic displays (EPDs), is providing innovative e-paper display technology for a new hybrid smartwatch from Czech Republic-based start-up, Leitners.
The Chinese company Yeolight Technology (which was spun-off Visionox in May 2015) has recently presented a 0.1mm flexible OLED panel. This is a red OLED panel that is specifically designed for automotive applications.

A new type of reflective screen – sometimes described as ‘electronic paper’ – offers optimal colour display, while using ambient light to keep energy consumption to a minimum.
