In times of upheaval, the automotive and aviation industry is focusing on printed electronics. Under the focus topic of Mobility, LOPEC, the international trade fair and conference for flexible, organic and printed electronics, will showcase innovations for traffic on land and in the air. LOPEC will be held from 22-24 March 2022 in the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München at the Messe München Exhibition Centre.
ASCA, an organic photovoltaics (OPV) global leader and part of the French ARMOR Group, has purchased the most relevant device- and module-related intellectual property (IP) portfolio regarding printed OPV. At the end of 2021, ASCA took patents on OPV production and technology from the Darmstadt, Germany-based leading science and technology company Merck. With this purchase, the company has become the largest portfolio owner with regard to printed OPV worldwide through tripling its number of patents.
The outlook is good for LOPEC, held on 22-24 March 2022 at the ICM at the Messe München Exhibition Centre: More than 130 exhibitors from 21 countries have already registered for this leading international trade fair and conference for printed electronics. Alongside Germany, the top exhibitor countries are France, the United States, The Netherlands and Italy.
