Nanoco Group, a world leader in the development and manufacture of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials based in Manchester, UK, has confirmed the appointment of David Yao as senior vice president of global sales.
Recently, TactoTek announced the opening of its new manufacturing and corporate headquarters facilities in Oulu, Finland, initiating a new phase of company growth. “In early 2016, TactoTek’s project pipeline began growing dramatically and foreshadowed additional production capacity requirements and staffing needs, so we started evaluating alternatives for larger facilities,” noted Jussi Harvela, CEO.
Pixelligent Technologies (Baltimore, Maryland), a leading nanocomposite advanced materials manufacturer, announced that it has been awarded grant funding from the US Department of Energy SBIR programme and the Department of Defense STTR programme that totals a combined US$2.15M. This funding will be used to accelerate and further develop a diverse range of applications leveraging Pixelligent's core PixClear nanocomposite technology.
