Genes’Ink from France, a developer and manufacturer of conductive and semi-conductive inks, has unveiled its Smart’ink Inkjet family of nanoparticle silver inks that are reported to have an unrivalled conductivity for inkjet deposition. The company’s conductive inks for inkjet printing are said to offer the best conductivity and fast curing required for rapid digital prototyping up to full-scale commercial manufacturing.
Adesis, Inc. (New Castle, Delaware), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal Display Corporation, recently announced the grand-opening of its new, state-of-the-art chemistry laboratories in its New Castle facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on 19 October 2018 to commemorate this expansion with state and local officials, and other members of the Delaware community. The attendance included Governor John Carney, Senator Tom Carper and the Delaware Prosperity Partnership (DPP), whose support for innovation and job growth in Delaware were integral with this expansion.
Optomec (Albuquerque, New Mexico), a global supplier of production-grade additive manufacturing systems (AM) for 3D printed metals and 3D printed electronics, recently announced the opening of Optomec GmbH, its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Operations Center in Dübendorf, Switzerland. Optomec GmbH will be located at Empa, the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology.
