The innovations developed in the ALUSolder project position the project partners involved as pioneers in the industry. Their lightweight electronic modules and the use of printed circuit boards made of aluminum make them more cost-effective, sustainable and resource-saving products.
Epishine, Linköping (Sweden), leader in printed organic solar cell technology, has announced the company will lead a consortium that has been selected for funding of over 38 million SEK (nearly €3.3 million) from the EU. The consortium will work with industry leaders for the future of OPV and sustainable electronics.
The first construction phase of the "FFB PreFab", the Fraunhofer Research Fabrication Battery Cell FFB, was inaugurated in Münster (Germany). The facility is supposed to make a key contribution to advancing the production of battery cells "made in Germany" and help to strengthen Germany as a centre of technology.
