Carbon nanomaterial developer Canatu (Vantaa, Finland) and global manufacturer of polymer materials and components Covestro, will showcase a joint LiDAR heater demonstrator at the Canatu booth 4271 / West Hall during CES 2023. The companies are bringing together leading expertise in flexible transparent film heaters, thermoplastic polymers and film insert moulding processing to showcase a state-of-the-art LiDAR cover lens with heating functionality that is highly performant, versatile, and ready for scale-up.
Printed electronics is so thin, lightweight, and flexible that the technology is an enabler for many high-tech applications in the first place. IMSE pioneer TactoTek (Oulu, Finland) and trim part supplier Novem (Vorbach, Germany) announced the signing of a license agreement. As a TactoTek licensee, Novem will be able to build innovative and smart 3D surfaces with enhanced functionality and inspire the automotive market with differentiated IMSE-based solutions.
