CES 2022 returned ‘home’ to Las Vegas yesterday, kicking off the world’s most influential tech event with innovation that will improve world health and safety and change lives around the globe. With more than 2300 exhibiting companies, including 800 startups, CES 2022 features the latest transformative technologies, including vehicle technology, artificial intelligence, digital health and smart home tech, as well as new categories: NFTs, food tech and space tech. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES 2022 runs through Friday, 7 January in Las Vegas, Nevada.
CES has been one of the world’s most influential tech events for decades. It is a tradition that milestones in the history of consumer electronics are presented here for the first time – such as the video recorder in 1970, the Blu-ray Disc in 2004, and televisions with OLED technology in 2012. After a fully virtual event in 2021, the organisers now invite everyone back to Las Vegas: From 5-7 January 2022, industry representatives can once again marvel at numerous highlights live – including the innovations from LEONHARD KURZ (Fürth, Germany). At stand 4567, the expert in plastic surface solutions will present spectacular and sustainable design concepts for the consumer electronics of tomorrow.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced that CES 2022 will be closing one day early, and the in-person event will take place in Las Vegas on 5-7 January 2022. The step was taken as an additional safety measure to the current health protocols that have been put in place for CES.
