AIXTRON SE, a German supplier of deposition systems to the semiconductor industry, and Manz AG, a Germany based specialist engineering company, recently agreed on a strategic cooperation. Both partners will be working on further developing solutions for use in efficient OLED production.
The conference chairs of LOPEC 2014 (26-28 May in Munich) have issued a final call for papers for the Technical, Business and Scientific Conferences of the event. The deadline for submitting abstracts is 17 December 2013.
DuPont Teijin Films (DTF) is developing a new ‘Clean-on-Demand’ PET polyester film that according to the company could boost yields and cut costs for roll-to-roll (R2R) production of flexible electronics. It features a protective layer that is said to keep the active surface of the film clean and free from particulate contamination until it is used, reducing defects. This development is made as part of the EU-funded, Holst Centre-coordinated Clean4Yield project.
