American-based Quantum Materials, developer and manufacturer of quantum dots and nano-materials, has presented Craig A. Lindberg as its new CFO. The appointment is effective 6 April 2015 and is reported to be in line with the company’s drive to enhance the breadth and depth of its financial and operational leadership team. Lindberg brings to the company executive level experience in corporate strategy, managing growth, risk and performance management, and financial reporting.
American-based Cima NanoTech, a smart materials company specialised in transparent conductive solutions, has been recognised as the provider of the “Best New Touch Technology” at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2015 in Las Vegas. Cima NanoTech received the award for its proprietary SANTE technology, which is reported to enable true projected capacitive multi-touch solutions for fast response large format touch screens.
The FlexTech Alliance, an industry association dedicated to promoting flexible and printed electronics, has announced that Jennifer Ernst, chief strategy officer at Norwegian-based Thinfilm Electronics, has been elected as chair of its governing board. The election is for a two-year term, from 2015 to 2016. As chair of the governing board, Ernst is expected to provide the industry leadership necessary for the successful continuation of FlexTech’s programmes and services. She succeeds Keith Rollins of DuPont Teijin Films, who will remain on the board.
