Creative Materials (Ayer, Massachusetts) recently introduced its new 127-48 series of conductive inks and coatings designed for manufacturing printed electronic circuits on washable textiles. These products have proven to be among the best performing products of their kind in the industry and are able to withstand a minimum of 50 machine wash and heated dryer cycles.
The PrintoCent 10 commercialisation project on health and well-being rapid tests has started with a notable company cluster. The PrintoCent10 project has been funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is led by VTT together with the Oulu University of Applied Sciences and University of Oulu. The project was set up to activate companies within the field of printed intelligence and to manufacture rapid tests as well as to pilot them with real use cases.
New visions and creative concepts in the area of organic and printed electronics are what the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), a working group within VDMA, aims to promote in its annual OE-A Competition. Once again, there were numerous submissions coming from all corners of the world this year. The five best submissions were rewarded at LOPEC 2018, the international trade fair and conference for printed electronics, in Munich, Germany.
