The University of Twente (The Netherlands) and Solliance Solar Research have started a long term collaboration, which focusses on the integration of thin film solar technology in building materials and flexible applications, and on further development and analyses of perovskite based solar cells. The University of Twente has joined all three shared research programmes at Solliance Solar Research as a partner.
PragmatIC (Cambridge, UK) has announced a strategic collaboration with Smooth & Sharp Corporation (S&S), a major supplier of RFID inlays and manufacturing tools, which is expected to accelerate the adoption of PragmatIC’s flexible integrated circuits (FlexICs).
NovaCentrix (Austin, Texas) has exclusively acquired the technical and business-related intellectual property (IP) of Intrinsiq Materials in an asset sale by Intrinsiq Materials investors. The IP originating from both the original Intrinsiq Materials location in the UK as well as the location in Rochester, New York, is included. Additionally, industry veteran chemist and copper-inks expert Dr Michael Carmody, previously serving as Intrinsiq Materials’ chief scientist and based at the Rochester location, has joined the NovaCentrix team.
