Touch Taiwan 2016 to showcase trends and technologies for the display market

The Smart Display and Touch Exhibition (Touch Taiwan 2016) will take place from 24-26 August at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall and showcases the offering of display makers from all over the world. The tradeshow focuses, for example, on latest panels, materials, components and manufacturing equipment.

The Smart Display and Touch Exhibition 2016 is organised by the professional trade associations of the Taiwan Display Union Association (TDUA), Taiwan TFT LCD Association (TTLA), Taiwan Flat Panel Display Materials and Devices Association (TDMDA), Taiwan Electronic Equipment Industry Association (TEEIA), and Chan Chao Int'l Co., Ltd. Concurrently, the exhibition Smart Manufacturing & Monitech Taiwan 2016 will be held, which focuses on smart manufacturing, smart monitoring, smart sensing and recognition.

Major exhibitors of Touch Taiwan include 3M, ARC Display Glass, AU Optronics, Chunghwa Picture Tubes, C Sun MFG., Corning Display Technologies, Digital Signage Multimedia Alliance (DSMA), E Ink, Gallant Precision Machining, Tunghsu Group, Hiwin Mikrosystem, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Innolux, Lintec, Manz, Merck Display Technologies, Nan Ya Plastics, and Taliiang Technology. The last installment of the show in 2015 was attended by 37 404 visitors, who were mostly display, OLED and panel manufacturers, as well as touch panel, electronic equipment, semiconductor, photovoltaic, software and ICT manufacturers from around the world. Oversea visitors accounted for 6% of last year’s total number of participants and mostly came from China, Japan, the US and Korea.

The organisers of the event will provide service to match vendors and buyers and facilitate business transactions. The Joint Procurement Meeting for Overseas invites major international buyers and matches them to the exhibiting vendors for one-on-one meetings. The Guided Tour provides buyers with a free floor tour and introduction, which will help them establish complete knowledge of exhibits and help them find what they need.
