TactoTek Opens IMSE Innovation Hub in Munich

Finnish smart surface technology pioneer TactoTek opens a new facility in Munich (Germany). The Munich Innovation Hub supports the company’s commitment to being close to customers and making in-mold structural electronics (IMSE) innovations accessible to its rapidly expanding central european customer base.

The new Munich facility is expected to support the diverse business needs of TactoTek’s customers and ecosystem. The Innovation Hub features an IMSE solution showroom with the latest IMSE technology demonstrators. It will offer IMSE-related workshops and will have IMSE engineering specialists for collaboration on project ideationand design studies, and business support for proposals.

TactoTek’s Munich Innovation Hub's official opening date was 26 February, 2024.

TactoTek will also be present at LOPEC 2024, March 5-7, 2024 in Munich with two experts’ sessions:

  • Paavo Niskala (SVP IMSE Technology) will give a short course on Tuesday, March 5. The topic: “IMSE – Electronics in a Conformal Structure”.
  • Dr. Pälvi Apilo (Director of Foresight & Research) will host a session on Thursday, March 7, on “User Interfaces, Displays, and Lighting”.

Throughout the event, TactoTek's partners will showcase innovative IMSE demonstrators at their trade fair booths. These demonstrations provide firsthand experiences of TactoTek’s solutions.
