Strategic Polymer Sciences, Inc., a creator of haptic actuator and sensor technology, has just announced a name change from Strategic Polymer Sciences, Inc. to Novasentis, Inc.

This name and brand change is done to more accurately reflect the company’s focus on technological innovation for the consumer electronics industry. Its business remains fundamentally unaffected from this change. It will also not affect any account information, business process, and point of contact with the company.

Novasentis further announced the completion of the its Series B funding round, led by Samsung Ventures and Chengwei Capital.
