SPS trade fair opens its doors

Over 1,170 exhibitors are presenting their products at the automation industry trade fair which takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, from 25 to 27 November 2025.

For over three decades, Smart Production Solutions (SPS) has been bringing together decision-makers, designers and visionaries from all over the world. Exhibitors will present their latest products and most innovative solutions in 15 exhibition halls at SPS 2025. In addition to industry giants such as Siemens and Beckhoff Automation, numerous start-ups will be present. The trade fair will be accompanied by guided tours of the SmartFactory Kaiserslautern twice a day, offering a practical tour of companies in the hardware and software industry.

The central focus topic of this year’s trade fair is industrial AI. Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a key to efficiency and innovation in industrial production. This will be evident not only at exhibitors' booths, but in the extended lecture program, as well: All the SPS stages will feature specialist lectures, panel discussions, and presentations to provide visitors with in-depth information and practical knowledge on industrial AI and other current subjects.

This year, the industry is once again showing ist forward-looking approach. Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Vice President SPS, comments: „Despite – or perhaps because of – global and economic challenges, the SPS continues to be the most important trade fair for the automation industry. Not only does it offer a platform for showcasing the latest technologies and innovations, it also serves as a hub for experts and decision-makers. A place to form strategic partnerships and discuss solutions to current challenges.“
