SmartKem appoints new CFO
SmartKem Ltd., a leading provider of organic semiconductors for flexible OLED displays, has presented a new CFO to support the realisation of its global growth ambitions. Steve Dunn-Massey joined the UK-based business, which has offices in North Wales and Manchester, back in November. Dunn-Massey has worked in several roles as group finance director at technology-led global businesses over the past 25 years and joins a leadership team with high experience and skills in the electronic display market.
The new appointment lands at a pivotal time for the company, as recent public and private investment has accelerated the scale-up of SmartKem’s technology within the global display market supply chain. SmartKem’s semiconductor platform is reported to deliver exceptional thin film transistor (TFT) performance for displays on plastic, enabling the creation of a new form of truly flexible wearable, mobile, embedded and large area OLED display products. With collaborative partners in Asia and a world-class IP portfolio of processes and materials, SmartKem is driving the commercialisation of this revolutionary display format.
