Plastic Logic presents world’s first fully organic flexible OLED display prototype

 

Plastic Logic, a UK based producer of printed electronics solutions, will use the SID Display Week (1-6 June 2014 in San Diego) to present the world’s first fully organic flexible OLED display prototype.

The exhibit is said to be a further proof that organic transistor technology will offer display makers the best path to truly flexible, ultra-thin, lightweight AMOLEDs. The display features 256 grey levels, and full 30fps image rendering.

One of Plastic Logic’s aims behind this presentation is to find more companies to join its Partner Programme that aims at taking flexible electronics and wearable technology into mainstream production.
