OE-A expands international network

During the working group meeting, OE-A and JAPERA members also visited the KOMORI Corporation

During a working group meeting in Tokio, Japan, the Organic Electronics Association (OE-A) has continued its dialogue with JAPERA, the Japan Advanced Printed Electronics Technology Research Association. More than 70 OE-A working group members from all over the world have seized the occasion for an intensive exchange on current trends in organic and printed electronics technologies.

“The participants have gained an overview on the international state-of-the-art of the technology and were able to establish new contacts,” says Dr Stephan Kirchmeyer, president of the OE-A. “In the near future, we want to work together in intercontinental research projects – also thanks to the open dialogue with JAPERA.”

Another highlight of the event was a visit at the research centre of the Japanese company Sumitomo Chemical. The corporation develops OLED materials for next generation TVs as well as materials for organic photovoltaics, batteries and fuel cells.
