OE-A at IAA Mobility: Flexible and printed electronics drives sustainable mobility

The OE-A session “Flexible and Printed Electronics Drives Sustainable Mobility“ at the IAA Mobility Conference at Messe Munich (8 September, 3pm) is about how Printed Electronics enables endless design possibilities for the car interior. Thin, flexible and lightweight, printed electronics has the power to change the way you experience a car. Electric and autonomous vehicles have led us to new ways using and interacting with them. From today’s vehicle control centre to tomorrow’s leisure and entertainment lounge.

Live at the Yellow Stage in hall B2, two experts of the OE-A network will speak on printed electronics for mobility:

Wolfgang Clemens, Director Product Management & Business Development at PolyIC, presents how multi-dimensional touch sensors – already integrated in today’s cars – will become complex intelligent human-machine interfaces. Paul Cain, Strategy Director at FlexEnable Techology, takes you on a journey through the next generation of cars with curved displays and smart windows – any shape, anywhere. The panel will be chaired by Klaus Hecker, OE-A.

The stages of the IAA Conference are an integral part of the IAA Summit at the exhibition grounds, and therefore included in the IAA Summit visitor ticket from 5-8 September.  More than 500 international opinion leaders and decision-makers from industry, politics, and society will discuss the most important questions about urban and rural mobility.
