NikkoIA secures development program for organic imaging

 

The French NikkoIA SAS, a manufacturer of selective and broadband visible and infrared organic image sensors, just announced the grant of a collaborative project for “Organic Semiconductors for NIR Optoelectronics” through Europe’s FP7 Framework Program.

The objective of the project is to extend NIR photosensitive organic semiconductor materials to be used for the development of sensors and photo detectors with tuneable sensitivity windows. It includes synthesis, characterisation and application of NIR absorbing and emitting organic materials for organic electronics.
