New state-of-the-art RFID innovation facility opened by Avery Dennison
On 9 October Avery Dennison opened what is its largest RFID facility to date in Querétaro, Mexico. Leading RFID and digital ID technologies benefit regional and global clients in making supply chains transparent and connected.
The site will be equipped with smart systems and data-driven processes, providing a seamless blend of technology and human expertise to deliver superior products and services that keep pace with the rapidly changing market landscape. The Querétaro plant will be Avery Dennison's largest RFID site globally, serving local growth opportunities while increasing its global scale and capacity to benefit customers around the world. It will manufacture a wide range of RFID solutions to drive adoption of digital identification technologies across industries including apparel, food, healthcare, logistics and general retail.

The approximately 25,000 square meters plant is located in Querétaro's new FINSA III industrial park and will soon receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification (LEED), a globally recognised rating system that demonstrates a building's commitment to sustainability.
