New certified training course in industrial parts cleaning

The new programme represents a pioneering collaboration between institutional and industrial partners. It provides a solid foundation in the principles of industrial parts cleaning and the practical skills required.

According to a statement from the Fraunhofer FEP, Dresden, Germany, the issue of industrial parts cleaning is becoming increasingly important within the industry. Even minor contamination on seemingly simple components can have a significant impact on subsequent product functionality, underlining the need for rigorous cleaning processes. At present, however, certified training in this area is not readily available.

In response to this market need, the InnoVET project, "CLOU - Future cluster for innovative vocational training," has developed a new training programme in collaboration with industry partners. This programme offers certified qualifications and comprehensive content on various aspects of industrial parts cleaning.

The newly designed and exclusive training course to become a "Certified Professional Specialist (m/f/d) for Industrial Parts Cleaning BeSTeR" is scheduled to start in autumn 2024. Individuals with a strong interest in industrial cleaning processes are invited to apply for the course. Applications are now being accepted.

The programme is a groundbreaking collaboration between the Fraunhofer FEP and the SBG Dresden and is eligible for funding under the so-called Aufstiegs-BAföG. The in-service training programme provides a solid foundation in the principles of industrial parts cleaning and the practical skills required to apply these principles effectively.
