Messe Munich launches 365-day LOPEC platform

After the cancellation of LOPEC 2020, Messe Munich has come up with a new format that aims at connecting the printed electronics community in the age of the corona pandemic, where personal contacts are limited and rare.

As the leading trade fair and the most important conference for the printed electronics industry, LOPEC has developed the new LOPEC impulse format, which complements the broad range of existing activities with web seminars during the event-free period. The launch of the new format will be marked by a moderated expert panel on “Printed Electronics: With integrated sensors to a new way of ‚Smart Living’”. The web seminar will first take place on 16 July  15:00 – 16:00 (CEST). Participation is free but limited.

The speakers have already been announced:

Wolfgang Mildner, founder and CEO of MSW & general chair LOPEC Conference (moderator)

Robert Frueh, sr. manager business development – emerging technologies, Brewer Science: “Advancing Smart Facilities Through Integrated Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE)”

Tobias Meyer, system engineer; IEE: “Live Smart with Digital Health – Smart Foot Sensor: printed electronics for digital health applications”

Alexey Sizov, head of system integration & product development, InnovationLab: “Printed Sensors for Smart Floor: Social Distancing and People Counting”
