LOPEC 2020: Folex presents coated film substrates for wearables and heating applications

 

At LOPEC 2020, Folex Coating GmbH is showing coated films for the production of printed electronics on an industrial scale (Booth 515). These materials include transparent, conductive coated substrates for e.g. heating applications or sensors. Various systems are also shown for the transfer or application of printed electronics for wearable applications on textiles. The thin, flexible layers can be printed using standard screen or digital printing processes. They are applied to the fabric by transferring the layer from the corresponding carrier material.

Prototypes that were created in collaboration with other companies will be presented again this year. Folex, an OE-A member, offers a wide range of media that can be printed with optimal performance. The company offers visitors the opportunity to discuss specific needs and provides suitable substrates in the format of choice.
