innoLAE 2021 to be held online

Due to the ongoing uncertainty due to Covid-19, the innoLAE 2021 Conference and supporting events will be held online, on the same dates as previously announced: 23-25 February 2021. The conference will be delivered live online and attendees will be able to engage with the presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, poster presenters and other attendees during the event.

“After monitoring the Covid-19 situation closely over the last few months, and the ongoing uncertainty over travel and the ability to hold an event with a relatively large number of people indoors, it has become clear that it would not be possible to deliver the conference as we have known it in February 2021,” wrote Tim Phillips, conference organiser, and Chris Rider, programme committee chair, in an official statement. “For that reason we have been exploring ways to deliver the conference content but also the interaction with others that we feel is essential for the conference experience. We will make further announcements about this shortly, but we are working hard to deliver keynote presentations, invited and submitted presentations from industry and academia, sponsor exhibitions, poster sessions and networking in the best way possible, while remaining Covid-secure.”

The two keynote speakers of innoLAE 2021 have already been announced as well: Zhenan Bao from Stanford University will speak about “Skin-inspired electronics and sensors”, and Steve Xu, founder and CEO of Sibel Health, will focus on “Novel Bio-Electronics for ICU-Grade Monitoring in Premature Neonates”.
